The Breaking out of Brooklyn Boys hobbled into Spencer, Iowa after the spokes on Sam's recently installed new rear wheel came loose, causing his bike to become unrideable as they approached Spencer. (Today September 6th, the Spencer bike shops are closed, so repairs must wait for tomorrow.)
 
 

In Rolfe (along the Karras Loop), it's hard to miss ... the giant Clydesdale rocking horse that stands next to farmer Dan Allen's "Bud Barn." Are the Breaking out of Brooklyn Boys getting tired of their bikes?
